Vernie Mae (Stiles) Schooley
February 4, 1937 ~ July 26, 2022

Vernie Mae (Stiles) Schooley, long-time Chandler, OK resident was born February 4, 1937, in Spiro, OK and departed this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, in Stillwater, OK at the age of 85 years.

Vernie was the daughter of Edmond Edward and Esther Lunida Goff (Stiles). Vernie married Billie D. Schooley on August 30, 1953, in Hoyt, OK. They were married 63 years before his passing on January 8, 2017. Billie and Vernie moved to Chandler where they were owner and operators of Lincoln Land Surveyor Inc. She was a member of Chandler Southern Baptist Church.

Her husband Billie, her parents, three sisters: Eveyln Johnson, Ernestine Philpin, and Lottie Jarrard, along with brother Estel Stiles preceded Vernie in death.

Survivors include sister Ruby Cason of Fort Gibson, OK, two sons and daughters-in-laws: Darroll and Vicki Schooley of Sulphur, OK, Edmond and Karen Schooley of Chandler OK, daughter Elizabeth Ann Schooley of Perkins, OK, five grandchildren: Misty Arteberry of Kingston, OK, Delia Reed of Sulphur, OK, Johnna Schooley of Edmond, OK, McKenzie Schooley of Springfield, MO, Cameron Schooley of Midwest City, OK, six great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and other relatives.
