Dale Allen Schneider was born December 15, 1954 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Allen E. and Betty (Highfill) Schneider. He attended school in Woodward, graduating from high school in 1973. During grade school, Dale played football at Kids Inc. Being a member of the Orange Raiders team. He continued with sports in junior high and high school, not only participating in football but track and basketball. He was the recipient of the Gary Rottmayer Award in 1973. After graduation, Dale attended college at Northwestern State, Alva and Central State College in Edmond.
In 1977, Dale went to work for the United States Postal System in Woodward, later transferring to Little, Colorado in 1979. He retired from the Postal System in 2004.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Woodward. Dale was a wonderful son and brother. He was a very giving and kind hearted person and especially loved animals.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, his only brother Keith in 2001. He is survived by his mother, Betty Schneider; sister-in-law, Debra Schneider; nieces, Savanna and Katherine Schneider of Blue Springs, Missouri; aunts, Mary Ellen Highfill of Mooreland, Violet Jackson of Woodward and numerous cousins and friends.
