A Celebration of Life Service for Jeffrey "Jeff" J. Schminke, age 49, of OKC, is 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont, with Pastor Mark Blakeman officiating.
The family will receive friends 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at the funeral home. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Jeff was born February 16, 1968, in Enid to John and Darla Freidline Schminke, and passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, at his home in OKC with family and friends by his side.
He attended and graduated from Covington-Douglas High School in 1986. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with an agriculture economics degree and later completed his Master's in Business Administration.
Jeff worked for several banks as a loan officer, then later for Hanor Farms, finishing his career as a Field Rep for USDA.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont.
He is survived by his parents, John and Darla Schminke of Covington, sister Connie McDonald and husband Bill of Covington, niece Courtney and nephew Kyle McDonald, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dr. and Mrs. J. L. Freidline, and Conard and Nora Schminke.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
