Ronald Dean Schaffler

November 25, 1949 ~ October 10, 2019

The Services celebrating and honoring the life of Ronald Dean Schaffler, 69, of Enid will be held privately at a later date. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born November 25, 1949 in Enid, Oklahoma to Vernon and Ruth (Heibert) Schaffler and passed from this life on October 10, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Enid, Oklahoma where he attained his G.E.D. Following he attended Okmulgee Tech school where he learned to be a machinist. On January 10, 1968 he married the love of his life, Linda Hightower in Enid, Oklahoma. He worked as a Machinist for over twenty years. He enjoyed watching old movies and listening to classic rock. In his greenhouse he had a passion for growing cactus. His favorite food to eat was lobster. Most of all he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Linda Schaffler, of Enid, Oklahoma, grandson Devin Schaffler, of Enid, Oklahoma, and grandchildren, Ayden, Alyke, Brayden, and Daylen, all of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Carrie Schaffler, two brothers, Vernon Schaffler Jr., and Merle Schaffler, and one sister, Jan Harris.
