A celebration of life memorial service for Cheryl Denise Sawyer, 63 of Enid will be 11:00 AM, Monday October 24, 2022 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home with Chaplain Butch Phillips officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Cheryl was born on January 31, 1959 in Denver, Colorado to J.T. and Carol Lillie (Beck) Howard, and passed away on Monday October 17, 2022 in Oklahoma City.
Cheryl moved to Enid in 1975, and graduated from Enid High School in 1977. She married Edward Sawyer in Enid on February 5, 1977, and she raised 5 children. She attended Phillips University, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked at several businesses in Enid as an accountant, with the most recent one being Hammer- Williams, Jiffy Trip. Cheryl enjoyed camping, going on cruises, and the greatest joy of her life was spending time with her husband, her children and her grandchildren.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Ed Sawyer; her children Chris Sawyer and wife Kathy of Overland Park, KS, Shaun Sawyer and partner Brandi of Philadelphia, PA., Kari Skinner and husband Joey of Noble, Steve Sawyer and wife Charity of Ada, and Josh Sawyer and wife Stephanie of Ada; 10 grandchildren; and 2 sisters Patty Seim and husband Ron of Enid, and Candy Burnett and husband Jim of Lahoma.
Memorial may be made through Anderson-Burris to Folds of Honor.
