The memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Nancy Jo Saunders, 78, of Austin, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bison, Oklahoma, with the Reverend Edward Menasco officiating.
Nancy was born in 1939, daughter of Emma Kokojan Meade and Paul Meade, Sr. of Bison, and died peacefully in her home on January 10, 2018.
Nancy grew up in Bison, raised five children, settled in Austin, TX in 1977 and enjoyed a long career in insurance as a provider relations specialist.
Nancy will be remembered and missed for her devotion to her family and friends, laughter and big heart.
She is survived by her brother, J.C. Meade of Enid; sister-in-law Vernice Meade of Moore; daughters, Michelle Goodwin, Suzy Scheibner, Nichole Saunders and son, Brendan Semrad, their spouses, six grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sister Dena Popovich, brother Paul Meade, Jr. and daughter Gretchen Boyer.
