Randy Allen Sartin, Sr., 55, of Dibble, died Friday, July 17, 2020, in Oklahoma City. The son of Jerry Earl Sartin and Jo Ann (Buck) Sartin, he was born November 12, 1964, in Arkansas City, Kansas.
Randy married Julia Gale (Nixon) Ferrell on January 1, 1999, in Del City, Oklahoma. He attended Midway Southern Baptist Church in Dibble and was a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and The Elks Lodge in Chickasha. Randy worked for many years in fire suppression and restaurant maintenance, and owned and operated his own vent hood cleaning business. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, and riding motorcycles. He was a great cook and loved to grill and prepare meals for his family and friends. He was a TV and movie fanatic and knew all kinds of trivia. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Sartin; his grandparents, William and Cora Buck, and Bill and Ruby Sartin; an infant grandson; and a great niece.
Randy is survived by his wife, Julie Sartin of Dibble; his father Jerry Sartin of McLoud; one son, Randy “Allen” Sartin, Jr. of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Maecie Selzer and husband, Aaron, of Chickasha, Tylar Bigmedicine and husband, Josh, of Oklahoma City; and JuliaEtta Sartin of Dibble; six grandchildren, Kaitlin Sartin, Allyssa Selzer, Layla Bigmedicine, Colten Sartin, Joshua Bigmedicine, Jr., and Camdyn Selzer; two brothers, David Sartin and wife, Karen, of Wellston, and Steven Sartin and wife, Janice, of Shawnee; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Randy’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 24, 2020, at the Midway Southern Baptist Church in Dibble. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
