Bonifacio D. "Boy" Sandoval, Jr. was born October 9, 1956 in Plainview, Texas to Estella and Bonifacio Sandoval, Sr. He passed away February 14, 2016 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 4 months and 5 days.
Boy grew up in Texas and later moved with his family to Sayre, Oklahoma in 1971. He was married to Mary Alice Aguilar at Sayre on September 16, 1975 and remained there for a time before returning to Texas. Boy lived in Goree for many years until moving back to Sayre in 2004. Boy worked as Ginner in Rhineland, Texas for many years but began working in the oilfield when he came back to Oklahoma. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice, of the home; his children, Bonifacio Sandoval, III and wife, Jennifer, Sayre, OK and Millissa Gonzalez and husband, Jose, Sayre, OK; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 sisters, Noemi Pacheco and husband, Jose, Clinton, OK and Mary Villegas and husband, Luis, Sayre, OK; 2 brothers, Alejandro Sandoval, Clinton, OK and Noe Sandoval, Weatherford, OK, host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:00 am at Rose Chapel officiated by Chris Ogden. Burial will be at 3 pm at the Gorees Cemetery in Goree, Texas under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
