Johnnie Richard Sanders Jr. son of Johnnie Sr, and Eliza Sanders was born on January 6, 1954 in Tahlequah Oklahoma and departed this life to be with Jesus on December 19, 2020 in Fayetteville AR. at the age of 66 years.
Johnnie loved his Lord and Savior Jesus, he loved playing drums to gospel music whenever he had the chance. He drove a truck for Stilwell Foods, Greenleaf and then retired from Walmart. He loved working, and helping people while working for Adair County as a reserve, and a transport officer. He loved to hunt rabbits, with his dog Rocky, and loved spending time with his little min pin Skye. He was so proud of his family lawn mowing business that will be continued for him. He also loved to call his granddaughter Ashton at 6am every morning just to see what she was doing. He was known by Papa to many.
Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Eliza Sanders, his first wife Esther Sanders. Siblings: Randy, Amos, Leon, and Linda Kay Sanders. Nephew: Jericho Wynos
He is survived by a very loving family that includes: His wife Janice Sanders, His daughter, Jennifer Flynn, Grandchildren: Ashton Thirsty and husband Dwayne of Stilwell, Mason Flynn and girlfriend Brandi of Stilwell, Kristy Feathers-Flynn of Fort Smith AR, and Shaun Flynn of Stilwell. 2 great-grandchildren, Lucie, and Kiba Flynn. 2; step sons Jeremy Proctor of the home, Ryan Proctor, and wife Nikki of Stilwell. 1- sister, Brenda Butler of Cookson; 2 -brothers Leroy, and wife Cathy of Carney Ok, and George Sanders of Chandler OK. 2; special nieces, Lindsay, and Marsha. 1- special nephew, Brian Sanders. 2- very special Friends, who he called his brothers, David Hardin, and Cameron Bennett. Many “favorite” aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive him. And will be missed by many.
