Ellen Marie Sanders

July 19, 1950 ~ October 26, 2022

Ellen Marie Sanders, 72, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Ellen was born on July 19, 1950, in Pomona, California to Russell R.S. and Velma Griffin Sanders. She attended and graduated from Ganesha High School in Pomona with the Class of 1969. Ellen was a member of the First Christian Church of Pomona, and she loved Jesus. She loved working with her hands doing arts and crafts and working outside in the garden. Ellen will be remembered for her ability to spin a tall tale and was a great storyteller. She loved all their family canine pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, Gregory Sanders; sister, Doris Malone and husband Luther, all of Ardmore; two nephews, Chris Malone and wife Heather of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and Scott Malone; and three grandnieces, Adele Malone, Vikki Malone and Mercedes Malone.
