Hazel Jewel (Graham) Sampson
February 16, 1933 ~ July 16, 2024

Hazel Jewel Sampson, 91-year-old Gainesville, TX resident, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in Burneyville, OK. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Mountain Creek Cemetery in Saint Jo, TX with Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta, OK.

Hazel began this life on February 16, 1933, in Saint Jo to Gertie (Larison) and Frank Graham. She attended school in Saint Jo. Hazel married the love of her life, Johnnie Lee Sampson on May 16, 1952. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1999.

Hazel worked for several different nursing homes around Montague County, Texas and the Russell Newman Sewing Factory for several years. She was a lifetime member of the VFW in Gainesville. She had a heart of gold and had the biggest, beautiful smile that will be forever remembered.
