Anthony "Tony" Cline Sampier, 62, of Chickasha, Oklahoma formerly of Hollis, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. A Memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday July 16, 2015 at Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel in Hollis. Services are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis, Oklahoma.
Tony Sampier was born to Hubert and Carroll (Trench) Sampier on October 19, 1952 in Hollis, Oklahoma. Tony spent most of his life in Hollis as a Police Officer and a Sheriff's Deputy for Harmon County. He joined the Army out of high school and was honorably discharged. He enjoyed watching police shows and movies because he loved being in law enforcement and could not get enough of it.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Linda Withers.
Survivors include a son, Tony Mackey Sampier of Chickasha; his mother, Carroll Sampier of Hollis; 2 grandsons, Austin Zane Sampier and Mason Lane Sampier and many other relatives and friends.
