Connie Rebecca (Kirk) Salyer

June 29, 1946 ~ October 5, 2017

Connie Rebecca Salyer was born in Oxford, Alabama on June 29, 1946 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 71. 

Connie was the daughter of Hawk and Bernice (Johnson) Kirk. Connie spent most of her life in Stroud.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud and was a housewife.

Connie married Glen Dougles Salyer in Bristow on July 25, 1977.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother. 

Survivors include, her husband of the home, two sons, Christopher Salyer of Stroud, Justin Douglas Salyer of Nashville, TN., two daughters, Ashley Renee West of Forney, TX., Alyssa Ann Salyer of Stroud, two sisters, Marge Terrell of Huntsville, Alabama, Gwen Langley of Centerville, Alabama, one grandson, Easton Michael West, other relatives and many friends. 

Memorial will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud on Sunday, October 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Pastor James Bond officiating.

Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
