Kevin Wade "Damn Yankee" Salisbury

April 05, 1960 ~ August 02, 2017

Kevin "Damn Yankee" Wade Salisbury, age 57, Fletcher passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Kevin was born on April 5, 1960 in Goshen, Indiana to Whiting and Elaine (Bossler) Salisbury. He married Sherry Lynn Smith on August 27, 1983 and they spent the next thirty-three wonderful years together. Kevin was a compassionate and generous man. He loved his family with all his heart and loved taking care of animals. He always referred to Sherry and his daughters Elizabeth McGowan and Jamie Salisbury as "His Girls". In his free time, he enjoyed salt water fishing, cooking and going shooting, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Dakotah Lynn McGowan. He had six grand kids who he loved very much.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made in Kevin's name to the Lawton Humane Society, Lawton Animal Welfare or Rainbow Bridge Can Wait Animal Rescue and Adoption.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.
