Oscar Jose Caballero Salazar
January 21, 1953 ~ October 11, 2020 (age 67)

Oscar Jose Caballero Salazar passed from this life October 11, 2020. He was born January 21, 1953 in Monterrey, Mexico to Oscar Caballero and Virginia Salazar Caballero.

Oscar grew up in Monterrey and moved to Oklahoma in the 70’s. He worked at Jester & Associates Inc. as a remodeler and rebuilder for more than 20 years. Oscar loved worked outside and being outdoors in general. He especially enjoyed working on his 1965 Chevy truck. He also enjoyed going to the local flea market every other weekend. Above all, Oscar loved his family. His children and grandchildren were his world and he cherished his time with them.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Oscar Caballero and Virginia Salazar Caballero, and sister, Lupita Caballero Salazar. Those left to continue his legacy include his loving wife of over 40 years, Beatrice Jimenez; daughter, Roza Caballero of Oklahoma City; sons, Jose Caballero and wife Jennifer of Moore, Ricco Caballero and wife Chelsey of Oklahoma City, Robert Jimenez of Oklahoma City, and Michael Jimenez of Oklahoma City; aunt, Lola Medina Salazar Caballero of Monterrey, Mexico; sisters, Virginia Caballero Salazar, Gloria Salazar, Magda Salazar, and Blanca Salazar, all of Monterrey, Mexico; brothers, Josehomero Salazar Medina and Horacio Salazar, both of Monterrey, Mexico; and grandchildren, Esai Caballero, Marzello Caballero, Mya Caballero, Everlee Caballero, Vanessa Jimenez of Dallas, TX, and Alyssa Flores of Dallas, TX.

Oscar is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.
