Marilyn Beth (Brown) Sacket
August 24, 1936 ~ January 16, 2024

Memorial services will be at a later date for Marilyn Beth Sacket, 87, of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Marilyn was born, August 24, 1936 at home in Cleo Springs, OK to Jesse and Ona Brown and passed January 16, 2024. Marilyn was the youngest of three children. Marilyn married Larry J. Sacket in 1971 and they resided in Cleo Springs. Marilyn had 4 children, Alan Beckwith and wife Carla, Sharon Maul and late husband Wayne, Sam Sacket and wife Shelly, and Kandis Sacket. She had 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild, Ashlee Spradlin and husband Lane, Sean Sacket, Michael Kneisel, and Leighton Spradlin (Great Grandchild).

Marilyn worked at Champlin refinery in Enid until the refinery closed, she then worked at Vance Air Force Base in Enid. After her marriage to Larry, she stayed at home where she spent her time raising kids and enjoying their activities. In her later years, she was a bookkeeper for her husband who pumped oil wells in northwest Oklahoma. Marilyn and Larry did a lot of gardening together and she continued that throughout her retirement years. During her retirement years she enjoyed spending time with her husband, they enjoyed going to the lake to enjoy their hobbies of boating, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Kenneth Brown of Abilene, KS. and her sister Karol Jack of Cheyenne Valley. She will be greatly missed by her family.
