She was born to Larry K. and Donna Morgan Rutherford May 10, 1970 in Oklahoma City.
She was raised and educated in the Oklahoma City area and attended Oklahoma Christian School graduating in 1988. She then attended Northern Oklahoma College where she met her husband and from this union, she was blessed with her two sons.
In 1996 she moved to Edmond to be near her family, moved to Cleveland in 2004, and then to Enid in 2016 with her family.
She was diagnosed with Leukodystrophy/Alexander disease at the age of 16 and told she had less than two years to live. The disease eventually resulted in her not being able to move at all and having tremors, but the disease never became who she was. She was a strong gentle spirit. She never complained, she loved unconditionally with a constant smile. She had a passion for country music especially her favorite, Toby Keith. She had an infectious sense of humor. She always enjoyed her yearly pilgrimage to "Affair of the Heart" and making new friends and seeing old ones.
She is survived by her parents, Larry K. and Donna Morgan Rutherford, of Enid, sons, Andrew and Ruben Rutherford, of Enid, sister Angela Luthye and husband Evan, of Enid, half brother, Jerry Ashcraft and wife Rochelle, of Enid, and two grandchildren, August and Autumn.
Memorials in her name may be made to The United Leukodystrophy Foundation (ULF) WWW.ULF.ORG with Brown-Cummings Funeral serving as custodian of the funds.
