Cathy Lou 'Candy' Russell went to Heaven on July 31st, 2024. Candy was born on the 4th of July, 1959 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to father Alvin and mother Julia. She was one of eight children.
She was a bounty hunter, a musician, a care taker, a mechanic, a companion, a mother, a granny, and a ray of sunshine. In 1995 she met her partner in crime Munder and her greatest joy in life was enjoying the grandkids and teaching them.
Candy is survived by her roommate Kathryn, her children Kristi (Michael), Jason (Lynette), Corey (Cica), and Wayne (Tanya), her grandbabies Chance, Jasper, Braydon, Cali, Kalai, Anniston, Colton, and Jode, buddy Bobby, siblings Judy, Shirley, and Earl, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Candy's hobbies included playing the drums, forging fire, collecting knives, playing guitar, watching fireworks, fishing, being on the farm, working on cars, and spreading love and kindness to all she met.
A celebration of Candy's life will be held on August 17th, 2024 at 3:00pm at Tecumseh City Hall Auditorium 114 N. Broadway St. Tecumseh, OK 74873.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
