Braylin Gene Russell died unexpectedly in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 28, 2019, at the age of 21.
Braylin is survived by his Father Jay Russell and Stephanie Beierle, Mother Lisa Arhuire, Sisters Bryanna and Rylie; Brothers Payton, Jarrett, Jradden, and Carson; Stepfather David Hatfield; Paternal Grandparents Roy and Dolores Dee Smith; Maternal Grandparents Alicia Primm and husband Bob, Scott Chambers; and several Aunts and Uncles.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Gene Russell.
Braylin was born on February 26, 1998, in Enid, Oklahoma, where he lived until moving to Kansas City. He graduated from Winnetonka in 2016 with honors. He enjoyed academics, rugby, drama and debate and participated in the Northland CAPS program. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer. Later he began working for Honeywell.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29th, at Central Christian Church.
A Memorial Fund has been established in Braylin's name at Central Christian Church.
