Bradley Doss Russell Jr., 66, of Nowata, Oklahoma, passed away January 18, 2025, at his home. He was born August 8, 1958, in Nowata, Oklahoma to Bradley Doss Russell Sr., and Betty Darlene (Adams) Russell. He graduated from the Delaware School System. Brad was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the Delaware Baptist Church. Brad enjoyed riding motorcycles and driving trucks. In his early years he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Brad had a great sense of humor, enjoyed helping anyone in need, and had respect for his elders. Several people tell of how he saved their lives when they were at the lowest part of their life. He would help them and protect them through their times in need. He had a huge heart for others. Brad Russell will be missed by all who know him.

Preceding Brad in death are his father, Bradley Sr., and a brother-in-law, Kevin Tharp. Survivors include his mother, Betty Russell, of Nowata; daughter, Alisha Russell, of Liberty Kansas; grandchildren, Alexis Russell, Trenton Rupert, Marlee Rupert, Toby Schaplowsky; sisters, Becky Tharp, of Delaware, Barbie Hicks and husband Bob, of Clayton New, Mexico; close friends, Bruce and Cindy Jahola, of Nowata, other relatives and a host of friends.

Services will be announced later. His care is entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata.
