Stefan Rushing was born on December 5, 1999 in Lawton, OK to Uwe and Lavonne (Bynum) Rushing. His short life ended at his home in Lawton on January 20, 2014.
Stefan was in the 8th grade at Central Middle School in Lawton. He was a member of the Chess Club, Science Club, and was selected to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society. His aspirations were similar to many young men his age, to be a professional soccer player, start his own rock band, or maybe follow his brothers footsteps and go to school to become a pharmacist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rappelling, playing his guitar, soccer, and spending time just hanging out with family or friends.
Stefan is survived by his mother, Lavonne Bynum of Lawton; brother, Thorsten Rushing of Lawton; grandparents, Marcelle Bynum and Richard and Adelinde Rushing, all of Lawton, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
