The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Larry Andras Rush, 66, of Enid, will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday May 24, 2022, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel.
Larry was born November 2, 1956, to Wayne and Martha (Kuhn) Rush in Heidelberg, Germany, and passed from this life May 19, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma.
He loved his Coke, french fries and Whopper from Burger King. He enjoyed basking in the sun and smoking a Pall-mall. He loved classic country and R&B music; his favorite song was Sugar-Sugar by the Archies. He could be seen most days wearing a ball cap and sunglasses carrying his Walkman, enjoying life. He loved his little toy action figures and toy cars and watching ‘I Love Lucy’ and ‘Gilligan’s Island’ re-runs. He also enjoyed sitting in his recliner rocking and watching ‘The Lion King’. One of his favorite things to do was to get a Sonic drink with his best friend Fermin and sit in the van. Larry Loved to smile and sing.
He is survived by his mother Martha Rush and brother David Rush, of Kansas City, Missouri; and many friends and caregivers.
He was preceded in death by his father.
