Gussie L. (Cordell) Rupert

December 10, 1903 ~ January 29, 1983

Gussie L. Cordell Rupert was born December 10, 1903 to Jess and Lou Cordell at Tahlequah, Indian Territory, Oklahoma.

She moved to Durham, Oklahoma Territory in 1903 with her parents.

There she attended Little Durham School, and later Durham consolidated school.

Gussie left Durham and was married to Johnnie L. Rupert in about 1925.

She passed away at Lima, Ohio January 29, 1983 at the age of 79 years.

She was a Baptist in her belief and served the Lord the last years of her life.

She leaves to mourn her passing one son, J. E. Rupert of Tehran, Iran; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Tuner of Milwaukie, Oregon; Ruthy Thrasher of Denver, Colorado; two brothers, Bill Cordell of Mineral Wells, Texas; and Fred Cordell of Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

Her husband and one son preceded her in death.

Burial was at Lima, Ohio on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. February 2, 1983.
