The memorial service honoring and celebrating the life of Marissa Rucker, 36, of Enid will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday October 7, 2021, in the First Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Wilbur Flynn officiating. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born to Don Rucker and Cadilia Rucker May 13, 1985, in Enid and passed from this life October 01, 2021, in Enid with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was raised and educated in Enid graduating from Enid High school in 2002. She then attended Northern Oklahoma Collage receiving her Associates Degree. She graduated from Northwestern State University with her Bachelors in Behavioral Science in 2019. She worked as a case manager meeting the needs of and being a blessing to her clients at Northwest Behavioral Health.
She was first and foremost passionate about loving on and raising her 3 children.
She was a hard worker and had a larger-than-life personality with Marissa you always knew where you stood.
She is survived by her three children Marquez, Adriana, and Jayceon DeLaCruz; her parents, Don and his wife Amadawn Haley and Cadilia, siblings, Miranda Gains, Miesha Knight, Ebony Hailey, Alexis Coup, Tyree Rucker, and Kenen Longpine; her grandmother Rachael Haley; and numerous other family and friends.
