Funeral services for Lois Louise "Polly" Dollar Rubarts, 82-year-old Denison resident {formerly of Celeste, Texas}, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Celeste, Texas. Rev. James Ralson and Rev. Jim Sherwin will officiate.
Burial will be in the Celeste/Hogeye Cemetery.
Family visitation will be Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard.
Mrs. Rubarts was born April 13, 1928, at Yarnaby, Oklahoma. Her parents were Dee Buford and Emma Bell Dollar.
She graduated from Yuba High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Celeste and TOPS.
She married Barney Rubarts August 15, 1948, at Yuba, Oklahoma. She passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010, at the Texoma Medical Center at Denison.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Buford C. and Betty Rubarts of Celeste, Texas; her son, Roy Don Rubarts of Moyers, Oklahoma; her daughter and son-in-law, Debra Kay and John "Butch" McCollum of Greenville, Texas; her sisters, Julia Wanda Martinez of Hendrix, Oklahoma, Marie Manry of Sherman, Texas, Thelma Ruth Schultz of Willis, Texas; Emma Lou Havlik of Kaufman, Texas, June Wingfield of Hendrix, Oklahoma and Dorothy Jean Lowe of Medford, Oregon and her brother, Barney Keith Dollar of Hendrix, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Chambers and Mary Gayle Ramsey and five brothers: William Wade Dollar, Edgar Donald Dollar, Otis Allen Dollar, Buford Jr. Dollar and Victor L. Dollar.
