Sally Jean (Lichlyter) Rowe
February 22, 1953 ~ December 24, 2015

Sally Jean (Lichlyter) Rowe, age 62, died December 24, 2015 at her home in Ponca City after a short battle with cancer. She was born on February 22, 1953 in Pasadena, California to parents Marvin and Delores (Pat) Lichlyter. Sally attended Eagle Rock High School in Highland Park, California until 1968. Sally married Ted Rowe on August 18, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada and made their first home in Chino, California. In 1997 the couple moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma before making their final residence in Ponca City in 1998.

She is survived by her husband Ted, of the home; brother Mike Lichlyter of Glendale, Arizona; sister Linda Outlaw of Pomona, California; two sons, Robert Sorchini of Studio City, California and Sonny Rowe of Yukon, Oklahoma; three step-sons, Corey Rowe of Blackwell, Travis Rowe of McKinney, Texas and Justin Rowe of Concrete, Washington; and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Delores Lichlyter; two brothers, James and David Lichlyter.

Sally worked various clerical roles throughout her life before retiring in 2013. She was very active in the Pioneer Vo-Tech Welding Program. She loved the OU Sooners, the St. Louis Cardinals and her beloved King Charles Spaniels, Sissey and Charlie. She was a devoted wife and 29 years a friend of Bill W.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Carolyn Renfro Event Center, 445 Fairview, Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601.
