She worked at Achenbach Home in Hardtner from 1970-1979 and then went to work as activity director along with many other duties at Share Convalescent Home from 1979 until her retirement in 2013. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she cherished the time spent with them.

Besides her parents, David and Neva, she was preceded in death by an infant brother; her father-in-law, Floyd Rose; brother-in-law, Delwin Rose; and twin nephews, Jeffrey and Michael Rose.

Jean Ann is survived by her husband, Ivan of the home; two daughters, Audra Rose of Georgetown, Texas, and Annalisa Rose of Alva; one son, Jason Rose and his wife, April, of Lawton; three sisters, Janet Elwood and her husband, Gerald, of Kiowa, Kansas, Joyce Snow of Andrews, Texas, and Jill Daughhetee and her husband, Kenny, of Kiowa, Kansas; six grandchildren, Chezzni Rose of Alva, Brandon Rose, Kyler Rose, Alyssa Fortner, Kenzli Rose, and Brenna Rose all of Lawton; her mother-in-law, Nelta Rose; many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the ARC-Freedom West CDC (for the swimming pool fund) or the charity of your choice.
