Kandy Lynne (Peltzer) Roper

Kandy Lynne Roper died February 22, 2016 in Lexington at the age of 57 years 10 months 1 day.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 8AM to 8PM, at Wadley’s Funeral Service. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Lexington with Brother Rusty Canoy officiating. Service are under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Kandy was born on April 21, 1958 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Robert and Irene (Davidson) Peltzer. Being in a military family, Kandy was raised all over the country, graduating high school in Littleton, Colorado in 1976. Kandy moved to Lexington, Oklahoma over 9 years ago from Chickasha. She had many interest, but her main joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Kandy is preceded in death by her father, Robert Peltzer; and mother in law, Calla Lou Hubbard.

Survivors include her mother, Irene LeFlore; children, Chella Alarid and husband, Todd of Lexington, John Roper and wife, Margaret of Lexington, Kassi Luker and husband, Chris of Lexington, Robert Roper of Lexington, Callie Wheeler and husband, Alberto of Chickasha; grandchildren, Paetyn, Landen, Aubrey, Jaeden, Charles, Paisley, Raechel; brother, Chris Peltzer; sister, Cathy Peltzer; and many other relatives and friends.
