Ronald Leon "Ronnie" Romines, age 56, of Lawton passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at his home.
Ronnie was born on March 25, 1961 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Roy and Lucille "Jett" Romines. He lived in Lawton all of his life. He went to Cleveland Elementary and Tomlinson Junior High. He went to work for his dad in the construction business at a very young age. He worked for his dad until he went to work as a forklift operator on contract for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He worked there for more than fifteen years, until he had to quit for health reasons. Ronnie was a family person who loved his family very much and he always put them first. He was a very giving person, he would give you the shirt off his back and would do anything for anybody that would ask and never complain about it. He was a very loving person and will be missed by all that knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lucille Romines; his sister, Patricia Crouch; his Grandpa and Grandma Romines; his Grandpa and Grandma Jett; two nephews, Brian Romines and Timothy Crouch and his cousin, Christopher "Little Man" Willmon. Ronnie is survived by one brother, Roy Romines of Lawton; two nephews, Jason Romines and wife Mandy of Texas and Christopher Burrow and wife Cindy of Lawton; one niece, Mandy Romines of Texas; two aunts, Laquetta Caldwell of Lawton and Paula Huggins and husband Jason of Lawton; one uncle, Raymond Jett of Lawton; special cousins, Susie Tidwell of Lawton and Steve Caldwell and wife Connie of Lawton along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.
A memorial service for Ronald Leon "Ronnie" Romines will be on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at his home, 1407 SW 7th St., Lawton.
