Steven Dwayne Rogers

April 7, 1970 ~ December 31, 2015

Steven Dwayne Rogers was welcomed to the world by his parents and sister in Stilwell Ok. on April 7 1970. Steven lived in Westville OK. until the love of his life swept him off his feet where he then moved to New Kirk Ok. Steven attended school and graduated high school in Westville Ok. in 1989, he loved to play football and was very good, he also wrestled and boxed at a young age, and loved played drums in band. Steven became the proud father of a sweet baby boy Tyler Dewayne Rogers March 27th 1991.

He loved his family and friends and was always laughing and cutting up and have fun with them. Steven was a very compassionate and romantic man when he hugged you, you knew you had been hugged He was very proud of his 5 nephews and 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews. He loved both of his sissy's.

As soon as he graduated he began working at Farley's in Siloam Springs Ark. He worked there for 10 years it was there that he met his lifelong friend Calvin Farley. He then began to travel with Doug Phillips building poll barns. He was also a farm hand for the late F.E. Davis in Westville, OK and closed out his life working for K.C. Manufacturing for Kirk Brown in New Kirk , OK.

Steven was promoted to Heaven on Dec 31, 2015 where he celebrated the greatest New Year's Eve party every.

Steven was preceded in death by his Grandparents Pernie & Enmon Walker, Cecil Canada, Gladys and Lowell Rodger, Jim and Ida Mae Hammer, and several uncles aunts and cousins.

He is survived by his wife Leslie of the home, his son Tyler Rogers of Durango, Co , one step son Garette Leaming of the home , his parents Steve and Melva hammer of Westville ,Ok, 2 sisters Melanie Carey and her husband Floyd of Wagoner ,Ok Veronica Hammer and her long time companion Kirk Brown of New Kirk, Ok 5 nephews Trenton Hammer and wife Stephanie and a great niece and great nephew Payden and Steven all of Westville, Ok Timothy Carey and his wife Shea and a great niece and nephew Gracelynn and Hunter Carey all of Pollok, TX ,Chance Hammer and wife Hanah of Muldrow, Ok Joshua Carey of Wagoner, Ok A special family friend Shirley Daughtery aka SquirleyAnd a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
