Otis Ray Rogers, Jr. age 78, a resident of Mustang, OK passed away on February, 9, 2018, in Oklahoma City.
A celebration of his life will be held at noon on February, 16, 2018, at the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, 10928 SW 15th St. Yukon, OK 73099, with Rev. Michael Burkett, officiating the service.
Otis was born on March 5, 1939 to Otis Ray Rogers, Sr. and Hazel Keith in Pauls Valley, OK. He had a great passion for all the athletic programs of the University of Oklahoma, but was most passionate about his OU Football teams over the years. What was even greater to his heart than OU was his much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Linda (of 56 years) of the home; two children: Mark and his wife Jill Rogers of Plano, TX, Carrie and her husband Chris Stevenson of Pleasant Grove, UT; five grandchildren: Tyler Rogers, Mitchell Rogers, Heath (Lesley) Stevenson, Sean (Katie) Stevenson, and Ty (Mattie) Stevenson; two great-grandchildren: Maddux and Lily Stevenson. Otis was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Keith Rogers.
