Diane Elizabeth (Workman) Rock

May 8, 1943 ~ April 3, 2022

Diane Elizabeth (Workman) Rock was born on May 8, 1943, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to John Workman and Bertha (Pickett) Workman. She went to be with Jesus on April 3, 2022, Stilwell, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Bertha Workman, brother: Sammy Workman; brother: Doug Workman; son: John Rock; and daughter: Jerri Ann Stilwell.

She leaves behind her husband of 61 ½ years: Jerry Rock; 3 children: Janice Clinton and husband Rick, DeeJay Rock and partner Melissa Garris, Jeff Rock and wife Sarah all of Stilwell, Oklahoma. 10 grandchildren: Aaron, Ashley, Samantha, Zachary, Hunter, Chelsey, Dalton, Marvin, and Chandler; 6 great grandchildren, a host of other friends and relatives.

Diane was born again into the family of God on August 18, 1972. It wasn’t uncommon to walk in and her reading her bible at any time. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, aunt, granny, and great granny. She was a homemaker and helped run the family business for many years. She loved working in the yard, gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles and as she got older, she developed a love for watching TV, such as Lone Ranger, Hazel, Monk, and Murder She wrote just to name a few. And don’t forget her love for coffee. She loved her grandkids and catered to their every need, which included “Cocoa Milk and Ice Cream”.

She was adored by each and every person that met her. She will be greatly missed by many because of the love and compassion she showed to everyone she encountered.

Funeral Service was held 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 7, 2022 in the Roberts-Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel, Stilwell, OK.
