David Eugene Rock

David Rock, age 54 of Norman, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014. David Eugene Rock was born September 30, 1959 in Kansas. He grew up in Minco, Oklahoma and graduated from Minco High School. While in school, David was active in FFA and was a standout athlete, excelling in basketball and football. He then attended Oklahoma State University for more than 3 years. David worked various jobs through the years, working some as a machinist and mostly as a mechanic. David was forced to retire after a car wreck in the early 1990’s rendered him disabled. David enjoyed being outdoors. He liked being around horses and never missed an opportunity to fish. He loved music, and especially playing his guitar. David had a huge heart. He was a generous and loving person who found great joy in helping others. He will be dearly missed!

David leaves behind: His soul mate, Brenda Saul of Norman; Close Friends, David Chaney and his family And a host of other friends.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Thursday, September 4, 2014, at the Landmark Church in Purcell. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
