Services for Sherry Kay Abernathy Robnett, 45, of Burneyville, will be held Friday, September 27, at Shafter, California.
Mrs. Robnett was born January 21, 1957, in Bakersfield, California, the daughter of Willie and Mary Frazier Abernathy. She died Tuesday, September 24, 2002, in Mercy Health-Love County, Marietta.
She had been a resident of Love County since May of this year, moving here from Shafter. She and Allen Craig Robnett were married September 9, 2002, at Rubottom. Mrs. Robnett had worked as a weigh master at the scales at her parents recycling/scrap business in California, and was also a homemaker.
Survivors include her parents, Willie and Mary Abernathy of Shafter; husband, Craig Robnett of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Trent and Crystal Gardner, Lonnie and Kelly Gardner and Kris Robnett of Bakersfield; a daughter, Amber Davis of Burneyville; three brothers, Mitchell Abernathy of Georgia; Michael Abernathy and Mark Abernathy of Shafter; two sisters, Tracy Holder of Bakersfield and Amanda Abernathy of Shafter; and five grandchildren.
Services will be under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Shafter, with local arrangements under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
