Paulla Ann (O’Mohundro) Robison

Paulla Ann (O’Mohundro) Robison
November 3, 1961 ~ March 23, 2024

Paulla Ann O’Mohundro Robison, 63, of Macomb, Oklahoma, passed away on early March 23, 2024 after a brief battle with Pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time she passed.

Paulla was born on November 3, 1961 to Ethel Frances Ward and Johnathon Alton O’Mohundro in Houston, TX. After graduating from Alief Elsik in 1979, she met the love of her life, Tommy Lee Robison and wed that same year. They had three children, LeeAnn, Amber and Jonathon.

When Paulla had her first child, LeeAnn, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Paulla excelled at motherhood and was the foundation of our family, through and through. She was an excellent gift giver, always knew the right thing to say, never missed a special date, and knew when to have a good time. Whether she was supporting her husband with his music or being there for her children for their athletic games or field trips, she was our contact cheerleader and supporter.

Paulla loved working as a substitute teacher at Macomb Public Schools where her children attended, as well as in the school cafeteria and later as a special needs teacher assistant. She was known as one of the ‘cool moms’ and had later dubbed the nickname ‘Huney’. Many of the students had become close to her, called her mom and became as close as family.

Paulla was predeceased by her parents Ethel and Johnathon O’Mohundro. She is survived by her husband Tommy Robison, her sisters Marsha Craven and Karen Cloyd, her childhood best friend who has been a sister to her, Barbara Morgan and her daughter Kathryn, her children LeeAnn Paullette Perry and her husband Johnathan Henry Perry, Amber Renee Gray and her husband Paul Houston Simon Gray, and Jonathon Tomas Robison. Paulla regrettably had no granddaughters but had five grandsons: Brett Wayne Perry, Devyn Rayes Mohundro Puente, Seth Daniel Puente, Paul Houston Simon Gray Jr and Wayne Rusty Allen Gray. Paulla was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Any donations are welcome to the family to assist with finances.

There will be a public viewing at Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh, OK from 10:00am to 7:00pm on Wednesday March 27, 2024. There will be a Life Celebration cookout Thursday the 28th 2024 at Issac Walton's Park located at Twin Lakes in Shawnee from noon to TBD to honor the love and accomplishments of Paulla. There will be refreshments and food provided.

“Have fun, love a lot” as per her wishes.
