Kenneth Leon Robinson, 69, of Cartwright, Oklahoma passed away Thursday afternoon, December 11, 2008, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.
He was born on March 10, 1939, in Dalhart, Texas, and was the son of the late Glendon and Cecilia Stout Robinson.
He attended Amarillo, Texas schools and married Brenda Wynn March 10, 1984, in Dorchester, Texas.
He was a police officer for several years in Amarillo, Texas, and Bryan/ College Station, Texas. He taught law enforcement at A & M University for 11 years. He worked as a security supervisor for Texas Instruments for the past 15 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cartwright, Oklahoma and the Colbert Masonic Lodge No. 8.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Stanley Robinson and a sister, Glenda Harrison.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Robinson of the home in Cartwright, Oklahoma; children, Daren Robinson and wife Roni of Ackorth, Georgia, Danny Robinson and wife Jana of Lake Dallas, Sam Keeler and wife Rachel of Sherman, Texas, Amanda Bishop and husband Matt of Conway, Arkansas, Denice Winnett of Lewisville, Texas, and three adopted children Travis Middleton of Canada, Jason and Chelsey Wilson of Aubrey, Texas, and Patty Middleton of Lake Dallas; sister Sally Witham of Colbert, Okla., 11 grandchildren, one greatgranddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Kenneth Robinson will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Cartwright, Oklahoma with Bro. Ray Earley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery north of Pottsboro.
Pallbearers will be Will Baird, Claude Peton, Ray Pate, Jason Wilson, Lynn Sharp, Jerry Billberry, John Wynn and Jerry Holder.
Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Colbert Masonic Lodge No. 8.
Family night will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert.
