Julie Kay (Lightle) Robinson
October 26, 1961 ~ May 17, 2021

 Julie Kay Robinson, age 59, was at peace and in her Muskogee home when she passed away on May 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving husband, Scott Robinson, devoted family members and close friends.

Julie was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on October 26, 1961, the daughter of Ruth and Jerry Lightle. Julie graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and shared her love for science and adventure with elementary school students for more than twenty years at Ben Franklin Science Academy and St. Joseph Catholic School.

Julie married Scott in September of 1994 and they enjoyed nearly twenty-eight years together. Julie loved traveling with Scott, and spending time with family and friends at the beach every year. She enjoyed crocheting and created many beautiful things, which were often donated to others or given as gifts to her children and grandchildren, whom she adored. Among her many talents and accomplishments,

Julie was a Master Gardener and loved tending to her garden or sharing her knowledge about flowers and plants with others.

Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Scott Robinson; her son, Jarrett and daughter Bailey; her mother, Ruth Campbell and Ruth's husband, Ken; her stepmother Saundra Thompson and Saundra's husband, Bruce; her sisters, Jennifer Gaddy, Jan Whittiker and Jan's husband, Roger, and Jill Lightle; her husband Scott's children, Zack Robinson and his wife Fonda, Elizabeth Knowles and her husband Ben, Chase Robinson and his wife Tiffany; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kurt Robinson and his wife Cheryl, Mary Gail Nelson and her husband Jim, Jody Klopp and her husband Steve; grandchildren, Chandler, Lynnen, and Andrew Robinson, Maisie Knowles, and Lillian Robinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Julie was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lightle, her niece, Jamie Sue Smith, her grandmothers and grandfathers, Lucille and Jess Lightle, Carl and Najgy Spencer, and her dear friend, Robin Alberty.

Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 am Monday, May 24th, 321 N. Virginia, Muskogee, OK 74403. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Julie's honor to St. Joseph Catholic School in Muskogee, Oklahoma by contacting the church office, 918-687-1351.
