Regina Shurmet (Kerns) Robinette, age 57, a Tryon resident. She was born on September 30, 1963, to Steve and Beulah Catherine (Davis) (Kerns) Kerns, at Tryon, OK. Regina passed away on March 17, 2021 at her home in Tryon, OK. She attended Elementary School at Tryon and graduated from Perkins-Tryon School in 1981.
Regina was a Receptionists at National Standard Power Plant. She married Roy Daniel Robinette June 15th 1991 in Tryon, Oklahoma, they had 29 wonderful years together doing all the things they both loved. Regina was a member of the Christian Union Church in Tryon. The most important things to her were her family, kids, grandchildren & lake life. She was fun loving, loved motorcycles, dancing & music. She brought hours of fun to everyone that knew her by jumping out & scaring them, spraying water at the kids or just chasing them around. She was definitely the life of the party.
Regina is survived by her Husband: Roy Daniel Robinette of the home in Tyron, Ok, Her Children: Damon Roy Robinette & Rachel of Tryon, OK and Whitney Robinette & Trenton of Perkins, OK. Grandsons: Brody Daniel Robinette & Bladen Cly Robinette of Perkins, OK. Her K9 companion Tilley. Mother-in-law: Carolyn Ann Buchanan of Medford, OK. Life Long Friends: Michael & Carol Williams of Chandler, OK. her siblings: Tina Williams & Bob of Savage, Maryland, Renae Shelton of Henderson, Tennessee, Katrina Talbot & Eric of Silver Creek, Nebraska, Tonya Farasyn & husband Kurt of Parkland, OK, Mike Kerns & wife Charissa of Tryon, OK, Sisters-in-law: Geraldine Whitt of West Liberty, KY, Mary Ashcraft & husband Alvin of Chandler, OK. Shirley Biby & husband Jerry of Wakita, OK, Ruth Guinn & husband Kevin of Coalgate, OK, Brother-in-Law: Danny Buchanan of Medford, OK. Along with numerous nieces, nephews & special Lake Eufaula friends
She was preceded in Death by her Mother: Beulah Catherine (Davis) Kerns, Father: Steve Edward Kerns, Fathers-in-law: Roy Parmer Robinette & Jerry Buchanan, Nephew: Landyn Wade Graham.
