Melva Robertson a resident of Durant, Oklahoma joined her Savior in Plano, Texas on Thursday December 28, 2017 at the age of 64. She was born in Talihina, Oklahoma to Aaron and Melinda (Gibson) Bully on May 27, 1953. Melva was married to Onis Robertson who preceded her in death on November 23, 1992.
Melva was a fulltime mom who dedicated herself to caring for her home, and family. She was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and enjoyed taking trips sponsored by the nation and going to the Choctaw Senior Citizens on Wednesdays.
Mrs. Robertson is survived by her children, Jeffery Robertson of Durant, Oklahoma, Anthony Bomsburger of Durant, Oklahoma, Cory Robertson of Durant, Oklahoma, Glen Bomsburger of Mead, Oklahoma, and Stephanie Espericueta of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Larry Bully of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters, Anna Kenemer of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Sharon Hamby of Achille, Oklahoma, and Pamela Robertson of Durant, Oklahoma; 16 beloved grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Melinda Bully; husband, Onis Robertson; grandson, Glen Ray Espericueta; and granddaughter, Katonia Bomsburger.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Anthony Williams officiating.
Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.
