Keith James Roberts
April 12, 1937 ~ August 7, 2013

BROKEN ARROW, OK — Keith James Roberts, 76, died August 7, 2013, at his home in Broken Arrow after a long illness. He was born April 12, 1937, in Colorado Springs to Cecil and Glendeen Roberts.

Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home in Enid, followed by cremation. Rev. Matt Raines and Rev. Kevin Strope will officiate. After the service, the family will greet friends at Temple Baptist Church at 2918 W. Randolph.

Keith attended schools in Enid, graduating from Enid High in 1956. He served 1 1⁄2 years in the Naval Reserves, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, was stationed on Shemya Island in Alaska and Zweibrucken, Germany, and then served in the National Guard.

He began working in Littleton, Colorado, for Martin Marietta, on Titan I and II missiles, and for Rocky Flats, Denver, as radiation monitor. He retired after 30 years at Pillsbury/ADM in Enid in 2002 and moved to Broken Arrow to be closer to his grandchildren.

Keith was a member of Florence Street Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. 

He was married to his loving wife Delores for 54 years. Also surviving are his son, Philip Roberts, and his daughter, Jamie Cox and husband Steven, all of Broken Arrow; four grandsons, Bennett Cox, Trenton Cox, Justin Roberts and Zachary Roberts; two granddaughters, Jessica Roberts and Allison Cox; sister, Edith Burkett of Guthrie; brothers, Bruce Roberts of Enid and Dennis Roberts of Oklahoma City; aunts, uncle, many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Glendeen Roberts.

Keith's family would like to thank all who cared for Keith through therapy and hospital stays, all his physicians and Green Country Hospice. All were greatly appreciated.
