The son of Jerry Lee Roberts and Bettie Ann (Rinehart) Roberts West was born on December 21, 1959, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. In 1969, the family moved to Schertz, TX, and then to Enid, OK; where he graduated from Chisholm High School. David worked for Sears Appliance as a delivery driver and installer. He was an avid bowler who participated in many leagues and tournaments over the years. David loved watching sports especially football, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and OU Sooners. David always had his catfish bucket ready to go fishing, and loved to water ski. He was a pleasure to be around and had an infectious smile. He was the fun uncle, and the life of the party. David will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Roberts; and sister-in-law, Kristi Massey Roberts.
