Alma Elizabeth Roberts daughter of Homer and Juanita (Grace) Cassady was born February 27, 1935 in Blackwell, OK and departed this life on December 14, 2015 in Stilwell, OK, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 17 days.
Alma was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was also an LPN by trade when she was able to work in her younger years. She very much loved camping at Beaver Lake with her husband, fishing, being outdoors and also really enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Carl Roberts, daughter; Peggy Fox and siblings; Dennis Cassady, Eugene Cassady, Katherine Spruiell and Pete Cassady.
Alma is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Larry Roberts of Stilwell, OK, Sheila Bannister and husband Dennis of Fayetteville, AR, Rena Lester and husband Larry of Washburn, MO, 8 grandchildren; Tonya McElroy and husband Bobby, Jeff Fox and wife Winter all of Pea Ridge, AR, Shannon Roberts and wife Hayli of Rogers, AR, Travis Roberts of Rogers, AR, Joseph Roberts and wife Alea of Stilwell, OK, Bradley Lester of Garfield, AR, Angie Blanton and husband Curtis of Hutchinson, KS< Jennifer Foster and husband Henry of Pea Ridge, AR. 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Memorial services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Roberts/Reed- Culver Chapel, Stilwell,OK with Joe Roberts officiating.
