Johnnie Lee Lewis Roach

Johnnie Lee Lewis Roach
March 2, 1978 ~ July 25, 2020 (age 42)

Johnnie L. Roach moved on to heaven from his home in Ralston, Oklahoma on Saturday morning, July 25, 2020 at the young age of 42 years, 4 months and 23 days.

He was born in Pawnee, Okla. on Thursday, March 2, 1978 to Johnnie Thomas Roach and Gladys Bernice (Robertson) Roach. He was their second child and oldest son, his siblings he grew up with were Shawnda, Dusty and Donnie. Johnnie was a life-long Ralston resident, where he attended Ralston Public Schools.

In 2008, he met Stefanie Reanae Richardson. He married Stefanie, the love of his life, nine years ago on Sunday, July 3, 2011 in Ralston Okla. where they also made their home. He taught their children to fish, to love nature and to just be thankful. He took extreme pride in his daughter Bernice who joined the Army since graduating High School in 2020.

Johnnie held different jobs in his younger years, working on the Pipeline, in the oilfields and doing construction work. His most recent employment was with the City of Ralston as the Supervisor of the Water Department for the last four years. He was always busy, never one to be idle.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and in his spare time could be found four-wheeling, hunting, fishing and especially enjoyed helping his dad build things. Johnnie had a heart of gold and loved helping people. He was dedicated to his family and friends, making strong life-long friendships and was honest to a fault.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Stefanie; children, Bernice, Piper, and Brody all of the home; a sister, Shawnda Robertson and Ray Hunt of Ralston; two brothers, Dustin Roach, Donnie Roach and Madison Hendrix of Fairfax; step-mother, Robyn Roach; two step-sisters, Desarae and Scott Clark all of Ralston and Danielle (Oberly) and Jorden Harris of Pawhuska as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Those he joins in heaven are his parents, John Roach (01/27/2020) and Gladys Roach (11/04/1997); both maternal and paternal grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew, Braxton William Wayne Roach (11/23/2014).

There will be no formal service, cremation is under the care of Hunsaker Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax. A gathering of family and friends will be held later. You may visit Johnnie’s online memorial page at www.hunsakerwootenfuneralhome.com to share a message or leave a condolence for his family.

“Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway.” -- John Wayne
