September 04, 1968 ~ May 15, 2018

Celebration of Life service for Jimmy Rivera, 49 of Enid, will be Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the Central National Bank Center, with Pastor Josh Cosby officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Jimmy's "final ride" will begin Saturday morning at the funeral home. Arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Jimmy was born on September 4, 1968, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Matias and Maria Rivera and passed away on May 15, 2018, in Enid.

Jimmy grew up in Canute and graduated from Canute High School in 1988. He married Donna Robinson and had two children. He moved to Iowa for a few years but then returned to the Enid area. He worked for the City of Enid for 11 years. On April 20, 2016, he married Karen Brown, and they made their home in Enid.

Jimmy loved riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing, smoking and grilling, and hosting parties at his home. He was a member at Central Assembly of God Church. Jimmy loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Kristen Rivera of New Orleans, Andrew Rivera of Edmond, OK, Justin Castro (Breanna) of Roff, OK, Briana Castro of Clinton, OK, and Marissa Vargas of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Harper, Greyson, Ean, Ariana, Anayeli, Juan, Adam, Adelynn, Isaiah, Colton, Zabree, Bentley, and Brinlee; his mother, Maria Estrada of Oklahoma City; brother, David Rivera (Cynthia) of Defiance, Iowa; sister, Diana Rivera of Oklahoma City; and his mother-in-law, Glenda Raines of Clinton, OK; nephews and nieces, Sam, Eric, Josh, Armani, Bernise and Gieselle Rivera; host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matias Rivera.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Central Assembly of God Church.
