Carla (Hopkins) Ritter

October 19, 1964 ~ June 24, 2016

Carla Ritter, daughter of Orae and Christine (Rogers) Hopkins, was born on October 19, 1964 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Friday, June 24, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 51 years, 8 months and 5 days.

She was a warm and friendly person who made friends easily. Carla was kind and generous with friends, family and loved helping others. She enjoyed singing, visiting flea markets and looking for antiques. Most of all, Carla loved the time spent with her family.

Carla was preceded in death by her son: Shawn Ritter and an infant grandson. She leaves a loving and devoted family that includes her sons: Howard Hopkins and wife Calisa , Jake Longshore, grandchildren: Shawn Ritter, Jr., Gracie Ritter, Zeke Hopkins, Malachi Hopkins, brothers: Vince Hopkins and wife Marcie, Van "Crocky" Hopkins and wife Penny, Anthony Hopkins, all of Stilwell, OK, parents: Orae and Christine Hopkins, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be a private family gathering. Arrangements were by Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home Stilwell.
