Feb. 21, 1964 ~ June 8, 2015

Memorial service for Aeon Dale Riggs will be 4 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Carmen Park Pavilion in Carmen, Okla. Arrangements are under the direction of Wentworth Mortuary, LLC of Carmen.

Aeon Dale Riggs, son of the late Gene Dale and Lena Riggs, was born Feb. 21, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and passed away at his home in Carmen on June 8, 2015, at the age of 51 years, 3 months and 18 days.

Dale was raised in Ohio and later moved to Enid, where he lived for 25 years.

He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Phillips University for 20 years before moving to Carmen.

He raced cars when he was young and enjoyed building models and listening to music.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant twin brother and his sister, Debra Spinney.

He is survived by his spouse, Shelia Wackett of Carmen; one uncle, Jack Dale Riggs of Enid; nephews, Josh Byers of Enid and Jeremiah Spinney and wife Jessica of Blackwell; one niece, Ashley Wallace and husband Andrew of Sand Springs; several great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
