The services celebrating the life of DeRoy Burns Rickerd, 84, of Blackwell will be held privately at a later date.
He was born on February 23, 1935 to Roger Roland and ElReno Combs Rickerd in Cold Springs, Oklahoma and passed from this life onDecember 04, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma.He was raised and educated in Roosevelt where he graduated from HighSchool in 1953. On September 10, 1955 he married Nancy Amen in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He owned and operated Rickerd’s PlumbingHeating and Air for over thirty-two years. Most of all he loved hisfamily.
He is survived by his son, Roland Rickerd, grandson, Ross Rickerd, granddaughter Jillian Murphy, and daughter in law Kathrine Rickerd.
