John was born on March 29, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to Zane Richardson and Thelma Gibson Richardson and passed from this life on October 21, 2021 in El Reno, Oklahoma after long health issues.
John graduated high school in Aurora, Missouri in May 1972. He was a life-long auto mechanic and truck driver for over 44 years with 25 years in mechanics and 19 years in truck driving over the road. In 2015 he had to retire from truck driving due to a heart attack and open-heart surgery.
John lived most of his life in Boliver and Buffalo, Missouri area, before moving to Enid, Oklahoma in 2015. He moved to Enid to help care for his mother, Thelma.
John is preceded in death by his father, Zane Richardson; his mother, Thelma Richardson, and his grandparents.
John is survived by his estranged wife, Lupe Richardson of Enid; one son, Shawn Richardson of Enid; one daughter, Christin Richardson Mayfield of Liberty, Missouri and her three daughters; one son; Missy Cypret of Branson West, Missouri and her four daughters; two brothers, Darrell Richardson of Enid and Keith Richardson of Okeene; two sisters, Sharon Vines-Hildabrandt and husband, Paul of Enid and Janet Lines and husband, Michael of Seattle, Washington; one uncle, Zethro Richardson and wife, Leona of Aurora, Missouri, and one aunt, Ellen Buttler of Verona, Missouri; many nieces and nephews.
