Christopher "Elijah" Richardson

Christopher "Elijah" Richardson
March 22, 1995 ~ April 7, 2026

Christopher Elijah “Elijah” Richardson, born March 22, 1995, in Poughkeepsie, New York, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 31.

Elijah was a beloved son, deeply cherished by his mother, Rebecka Hardman, and loved beyond words by his family and all who knew him. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will last forever.

Elijah was known for his kind heart and quick sense of humor. His presence was larger than life, and he had a gift for making others feel seen and cared for. He was often the first to walk his grandmother to the car or fix her plate of food, always putting others before himself. Elijah was truly a friend to the friendless. He also had a talent for spot-on impressions that could make anyone laugh, and an uncanny knowledge of music—able to name just about any song and the artist who sang it, across every genre.

Elijah left a lasting impression on everyone he met, not just through humor, but through his kindness and presence.

He was loved by all who knew him, but especially by his siblings, whose relationship he cherished deeply. Family was the most important thing to him, and that love will live on in all of them.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Wyvone Hardman, and Irving and Rose Richardson; his sister, Stasta Richardson; and his brother-in-law, Christian Cummings.

He leaves behind his son Ezra shailer-Cole Richardson and siblings: Devon Williams of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Jaden Richardson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Saige Richardson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Jakob Richardson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Jazavia Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; along with a family who will forever carry him in their hearts. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles who played a large role in his life and meant so much to him, including Tina and Anthony Record, and Darrell and Cindy Dunn, along with numerous friends who were more like family.

Luke 19:9–10 — “And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house; forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Greater First Church.

To honor Elijah, please wear your Sunday best. He was a sharp, dapper dresser.

A private family repass will follow the service for close friends and loved ones.
