John Thurlo "Johnny" Rich

July 15, 1939 ~ November 14, 2007

John was born July 15, 1939 at home near Swain, Newton Co., AR., to Lawrence and Rentha Daniels Rich.
He departed this life on November 14, 2007 in California at the age of 68 years, 4 months.

The family moved to Oklahoma when John was 2 years old and he grew up in Adair Co. He attended Starr Grade School and Cave Springs High School. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He met Ilene Loessin in California while serving in the Navy, married her and one he was discharged, they made their home there.

John is survived by his wife, Ilene of the home in Anahiem, CA., 2 sons; Terry Rich and wife Connie of Moreno Valley CA., Michael Rich of Phoenix, AZ., 2 daughters; Debbie Normandin Anahiem, CA., and Michelle Strope and husband Richard of Huntington Beach, CA., 7 grandchildren, 8 sisters; Novel McCoy and husband Paul of Tulsa, OK., Wanda Casey of Springdale, AR., Kay Bolin and husband George of Stilwell, OK., Sue Poor and husband Grady of Stilwell, OK., Judy Rich of Stilwell, OK., Frances Unger and husband James of Tahlequah, OK., Neva Brown and husband Roy of Stilwell, OK., and Phyillis Kimble and husband Rich of Stilwell., OK., one brother; Tommy Dale Rich of Stilwell, OK.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Linda Rich, his parents; Lawrence and Rentha Daniels Rich, 2 brothers; Larry Ray Leon Rich and Jimmy Lee Rich, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park, Orange County, CA on Wednesday, November 21 at 12:00PM.

A second Memorial Service will be held on November 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Gazebo in Adair State Park, Stilwell, OK.
